You are invited to participate in a research study examining gameplay and communication in a turn-based version of the game Among Us. In this study, you will play a turn-based version of the game and make decisions during gameplay.
During the study, the system will record gameplay actions and in-game communications for research purposes. No personally identifying information will be collected beyond what is necessary to conduct the study.
The purpose of this research is to examine differences in gameplay, communication, and deception strategies across different types of players in a turn-based social deduction game environment.

How to Play
Crewmates
Complete all your assigned tasks, or
Vote out all Impostors in meetings
Impostors
Kill Crewmates until they are outnumbered, or
Survive until the time limit runs out (Turn Count > 10)
On Each Turn (90s)
Move: Travel to an adjacent room
Do Task: Complete a task in your room (Crewmates)
Report: Report a dead body to call a meeting
Emergency Meeting: Call a meeting from the Cafeteria
Kill: Eliminate a nearby Crewmate (Impostors only)
Vent: Teleport between vent-connected rooms (Impostors only)
Emergency Meetings
Discuss who you think the Impostor is
Each player speaks once per discussion round
Then everyone votes. Player with most votes gets ejected
Ties result in no ejection
Dead players must observe but cannot vote or speak
Tips
You can only see players who are in the same room as you
Watch the game log carefully. It records when players leave your room
Be careful using Impostor actions like killing and venting; witnesses in the same room will see it
If you fail to submit an action on time, a null action is submitted automatically
YOU WERE KILLED
You are now a ghost. You can continue moving and completing tasks.
